Due to the impending storm expected on the weekend of the Competition,
Marching at the Rock 2023 has been cancelled.
11:00 Call time
11:30 Stretch and warm up in stadium
12:00 – 3:00 Dress Rehearsal, Full Ensemble in stadium to clean sets
3:00 – 4:30 help parents set up (props stay in the stadium)
4:30 – 5:30 Dinner
5:30 Change into formals
6:15 March to Stadium to play National Anthem
6:30 National Anthem, then everyone back to the band room for further instruction.
6:45 Pit and Percussion in band go over show music (where this will be TBD), Winds and Guard with Mr. Filosi for basic block and warm up circle (Where this will be TBD). There might be a small break during this time frame before we start

Students – Bring everything you need for a full day…enough water, and all your uniform needs, please dress for the weather of the day. We want you to be comfortable during rehearsal. WE WILL NOT NEED OUR SUMMER UNIFORMS. For rehearsal, dress for the weather
For MATR, you are NOT allowed to leave campus this day. Please have dinner at the concessions.
Competition days are long days. Please eat a big breakfast before you arrive and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
Timing and details tend to change last minute on these days, so be ready for anything that may come up. It is not unusual to have to make changes on the fly.
Go out and give your best effort. Remember….preparation + opportunity = SUCCESS
